What an awesome vintage 12-string! This is a Kazuo Yairi Alvarez that was built in Japan, and it sure does show - this guitar sounds and feels amazing! Built with the ole' reliable spruce top + rosewood body pairing, this beauty sounds HUGE, plenty of bass, and tons of fun to play! Recently pro serviced, even includes a hard case!
This Alvarez DY76 is in Very Good condition. There are some light scratches and small dings on the top, but nothing through the finish. Professional bridge re-set completed ~Dec 2025, guitar plays great with nice low action, truss rod works well, neck is twist-free. Passive electronics are functional. Tuning machines possibly swapped, evidence of old screw holes present on headstock. Some light dings present on back of neck (pictured) that do no affect playability of the guitar. Includes hard shell case in good condition, plastic is damaged slightly, but case is structurally sound, sturdy, and all latches are functioning.
