This is the same model year (and model) as the guitar made famous by Dimebag Darrel! This is what they look like before all of the modifications! Very cool model, originally released in the late-70's, these babies are tough to find, especially in unmodified condition. Equipped with original HOT DiMarzio humbuckers and built with a 24.75" scale length (similar to most Gibson scales), this axe was built for shredding! Super cool, fun to play, and made in the USA!
This 1981 Dean ML is in Excellent condition. Appears to be all original, no apparent modifications, right down to the DiMarzio pickups (see photos for underside). Very well kept and hardly played - no meaningul wear to speak of, only 'notable' ding located on bass side of body (pictured, very small). No buckle rash, frets are in amazing shape with no flattening to note, gold hardware is holding up nicely, no tarnishing or wear spots through the gold (even on the bridge!). Very light pick scratching in playing position that is only in clear coat - hardly visible even under certain lighting. Great player with nice low action, reasonably lightweight and comfortable at 8 lbs 6.5 oz. Included original Dean zebra hard case is in excellent condition with good handle, working latches, and little to no cosmetic wear.
