Fender 1983 American Vintage Reissue "AVRI" ‘57 Stratocaster - Refinished - Includes Hard Case

Classic vibes with a twist! This is an example of the first time Fender started 're-issuing' their original models, and features a soft-V neck profile thats subtley pointed, and very comfortable. Refinished in the late 80's to look like a Mary Kaye Stratocaster - refin job was VERY well done! Plays amazing with a great worn-in feel, this guitar feels like home as soon as you pick it up. 

This Fender American Vintage Reissue '57 Stratocaster is in Very Good condition. Plenty of honest wear along the body and neck consistent with normal use for a guitar of this age. Body (and possibly neck) refinished in the mid-late 1980's, all the wear on it since then is authentic (not a 'relic' job). VERY light flattening on the frets, still plenty of life in them, far from needing fretwork. Gold hardware added around time of refin (owner clearly wanted a Mary Kaye), pickguard, pickups, and electronics appear original. Includes the original tweed hard shell case, also in very good condition.
