Overview
This early 1950s Gibson ES-125 is a beautiful example of Gibson’s classic archtop craftsmanship, featuring the unmistakable tone and feel that made the ES-125 a staple of blues, jazz, and early rock ’n’ roll. This vintage instrument has been refinished, giving it fresh visual appeal while preserving the unmistakable resonance and character only a mid-century Gibson can deliver. This guitar also features an original tailpiece and tuners. The bridge, buttons and knobs have been replaced with era correct hardware.
With its fully hollow maple body, comfortable rounded neck profile, and warm, articulate P-90 tone, this ES-125 offers the kind of vintage vibe and responsiveness that modern guitars rarely replicate. A wonderful player’s instrument with authentic early-’50s mojo.
